With all the looting that has taken place in America over the past 2 years, it is amazing that we have not seen the civil unrest that we are witnessing in Europe. Are we too sophisticated? Will we wait patiently for the elections this fall? Maybe we need a catalyst similar to the one that the market has been waiting on to bring us all back to reality. It is my belief that the fuse will be lit IF they end up shoving healthcare down our throats. I believe that this could be the game changer for everything, including the markets. Don't get too complacent. Things may get interersting...soon.

I am officially out for the purposes of this site. The trade was to be closed out on a close above the 78% retracement which occurred Friday.

I have some technical analysis for anyone who is interested in the Russell : Today we were at a 1.272 fib ext on the daily chart, we touched the 100% projection (symmetry) of the last rally from the low of feb 10th to the high of feb 22nd, we are approximately 3 Standards Deviations from the 20 ema (which often signals statistical excesses and potential for mean reversion to the 20ema) - I also have overbought readings in my indicators as well as some negative divergences - We should get at least a temporary pullback and possibly more. It depends on what a selloff looks like - If the selloff is light with no volume then potentially new highs after the pullback
